Private Family snowmobile safari from Rovaniemi

Your children will sit on a sledge pulled by the guide, covered with reindeer skin and warm blankets. After one hour of driving we get to our specially designed track where your children can drive their own mini-skidoo. After they enjoy fun rides, we head back. This safari includes warm beverages of your choice, professional guiding services and a lot of memorable moments.

Program operates like a classic safari program with less distance and longer stopover, during which children 80-120 cm height (app. 4-12 y.o.) can drive mini-snowmobiles in a private area under the supervision of a guide. A safe and fun experience. During the stopover you’ll get a warm drink (coffee/tea) and grill sausages in a warm kota (teepee) by the fire. After this you’ll head back home on snowmobiles. Children drive only during the stopover, and the rest of the time they ride in sledges behind the guide.

Traveler pickup is offered Guests staying outside Rovaniemi city centre will be picked-up from their hotel, and transferred to the snowmobile site.

• Car or motorcycle driving license is required to drive a snowmobile
• Pricing is based on 1 or 2 people riding on one snowmobile
• Not recommended for participants with heart complaints, disabilities, asthma, diabetes, epilepsy, back or hip problems or any other serious medical conditions
• You must be 18 or over to drive a snowmobile
• Children will ride on a snowmobile-pulled sled behind the guide
• Participants under the age of 15, may participate as a passenger on a snowmobile, only if they are 140cm tall or above, and have booked at the adult price, otherwise they must ride on a sled behind the guide
• Young children must be supervised by an accompanying adult at all times
• Operates in cold weather conditions, please dress appropriately
