During this 3-hours excursion, you will also visit Seurasaari (known as “Squirrel island”), an open-air museum located on a beautiful green island just a few kilometers from the heart of
Helsinki. The island is an oasis in the middle of the city and the museum, open in summer, displays the traditional Finnish way of life with its cottages, farm houses and manors from the past four centuries that have been brought here from all over Finland. The tame birds and squirrels provide a warm welcome to all visitors. The museum has 85 different buildings that tell about the lives and folk traditions of the local people in times past.

The guide will meet you at the Old Market Hall (next to the Market Square) to start a 2 hours walking tour for food enthusiasts. Get ready to see many of the city centre’s sights on this tour, including the Esplanadi Park, Bulevardi Street, the Candy Sweet Shop, the liquor store Alko and the traditional Finnish restaurant Kappeli. Excursion starts at Old Market Hall market at 11:30.
Suomenlinna Fortress Tour
Suomenlinna is a historical maritime fortress and one of Finland’s most popular sights. It attracts more than 700,000 visitors every year. Suomenlinna has something for everyone – walls, cannons, tunnels, a submarine, museums, cafés, restau-rants and even a brewery! Many find the 15- minutes ferry crossing to the fortress the most enjoyable part of the visit. It offers you a unique chance to see and photograph Helsinki from the sea. The fortress is one of the seven UNESCO World Heritage sites in Finland.
Incl: guiding service 1.5h and ferry tickets
Start: Каuppatori ferry terminal
Finnish Sauna boat 2.5h
In the Sauna Boat, you can enjoy the real Finnish experience of a traditional sauna heated from 70 °C up to 90 °C. There will be detailed instructions (DVD-show) on how to use the sauna. To generate more heat in the sauna, we
recommend putting 2-4 wood logs in the stove every half an hour. You can pour water on to the stove to make it more humid. You will be sweating a lot in the sauna, so be sure to drink plenty of liquids. There will be fresh spring water available inside. Water is probably the best drink when going to the sauna, but adults enjoy beer and cider as well. There are no real rules when it comes to the sauna, so you can just follow your own preferences. The most important thing is to relax, socialise, have a couple of drinks and enjoy the post-sauna feeling of cleansing both
your body and mind. Sauna is good for almost everybody. Only newborn babies and people with serious conditions like open wounds or heart problems should avoid the sauna. Everyone else is very welcome, and you are more likely to enjoy it in Finland, the homeplace of the sauna.
DAY 3
Breakfast in the hotel.
Turku Tour from Helsinki by train 8h
Turku is one of the most beautiful cities in Finland. On a comfortable high-speed train, you will embark on an
exciting journey towards the medieval city of Turku. Turku (Åbo) is the oldest city in Finland, and a former center of commerce going back as far as the 13th century.
