Norway’s largest and oldest aquarium is located on the southern extremity of Nordnes Peninsula not far from Bergen. This is a home to one of the broadest collections of marine fauna in Europe: 9 large aquariums, 42 small ones, 3 open aquariums with sea water, where typical dwellers of the North Sea, seals, penguins, and even crocodiles can be observed. A visit to Bergen Aquarium will be entertaining for families with children, youngsters and seniors, couples and friends. Everybody is sure to find something interesting: there are shows with penguins, seals, sea lions and carps.
